My favorite time of year has always been spring. For me, it is a time to shake off the cobwebs of my brain from winter. When the seed catalog arrives I am as happy as a child receiving the toy catalog before Christmas.
This year we are planting pumpkins, squash, cantaloupe, cucumbers, jalapeño peppers, Anaheim peppers, radishes, lettuce and tomatoes. I throw wild flower seed around the yard for our pollinators to help with our vegetable garden.
Last year was a bust for our tomatoes, I am hoping for a bumper crop this year. I hope you all are outside enjoying the spring weather, happy gardening!
